Where are Christians most persecuted?

An estimated 100 million Christians worldwide are persecuted.

Update 20/02/2015:
Every year, Open Doors publishes the World Watch List, naming the top 50 countries where Christians are most persecuted. There are over 65 countries where Christians are persecuted for their faith. Here are the top 10 countries where Christians face the most persecution:

  1. North Korea
  2. Somalia
    3. Iraq
    4. Syria
  3. Afghanistan
    6. Sudan
    7. Iran
  4. Pakistan
    9. Eritrea
    10. Nigeria

Please pray for persecuted Christians in these countries where faith costs the most.
You can give to the situation in the Middle East on our donate page by specifying “Middle East” in the comments.
You can also give to ongoing global persecution in over 60 countries by making a Where Most Needed Donation, making sure funds are used where the need is greatest.

The Open Doors World Watch List is the only annual survey of religious liberty conditions of Christians around the world, and measures freedom in five key areas of life: private, family, community, national, the church, as well as the degree of violence faced by believers.
